The West is Blind
by Anaconda
Putin’s next move could be to snatch a few
sq. kilometres each of Estonia, Georgia, and Moldova precluded by economic
warfare and other intimidations. The material gain is not important. It is the
demonstration of power that is important to Putin.
The West has always underestimated Putin.
Let’s see Putin’s behavior in a larger historic perspective. It is more to this
than the staging of the Tallinn riots. Of course Editor’s military source is
right. It is no secret to anybody here in Estonia. Please bear with me if some
of my remarks may seem to be out of focus, which I definitely believe they are
not.
First: The Molotov-Ribbentrop pact divided Europe between Soviet and Germany.
For Hitler this was only a temporary arrangement and he never intended to fulfil
his obligations as everybody knows. But Stalin was dead serious about keeping
the pact alive. Against all advises he continued to deliver weapons and fuel
till the Germans actually were on the road to Leningrad through Belarus and the
Baltic states. Estonia was just a short stopover, and nothing much happened here
in the beginning. Of course Estonia welcomed Hitler’s attack on their arch
enemy. But a lot of Estonians were living in Russia and had a pretty good life
according to Soviet standards.
After the war Stalin in every respect acted according to the MR Pact, and
snatched “his” part of Germany as a bonus. The Western powers had no serious
objections. Very conveniently they forgot that Estonia had been a member of the
League of the Nations. There was the Yalta conference and Casablanca to take
into consideration… Just like Poland, the Baltics were sacrificed.
But Stalin was predictable in the way business was conducted. All trade
agreements was honoured 100%, even during the freezing periods of the cold war.
The West conceives Putin as not predictable, but that is because the West never
bothered to ponder into the matter of Putin’s long term Action Plan. More about
that later.
Second: Estonia is the only state that ever stood militarily up against Soviet
and defeated the Red Army without any assistance from the Western powers. This
is the fact on which the Tartu Peace Treaty was signed between Soviet and
Estonia. But Estonia was actually founded as a communist state. It was not a
matter of ideology. It was strictly territorial. Mr. Savisaar is a relic of this
unholy idea, and a staunch supporter of Moscow, whether admitted or not. In
short it can be said that all the former Soviet states are plagued by “Russkie
Sovoks”. Estonia is not an exception. In Estonia there is Rüütel and Savisaar as
the local Quislings.
Back to Putin: Prior to his massive victory in the elections, there was not a
single Western media outlet that even knew who he was. To them he was just an
obscure spy that Yeltsin probably had appointed when drunk. Putin was belittled
and ridiculed. When he held his first speech as a President not a single Western
journalist attended to listen. God knows were CIA was, but they were also
missing. They were sitting in Moscow, and did not even notice that Putin went to
Yekaterinburg (Yeltsin.s home town), where the entire Tsar family had been
murdered. Putin went directly to nearby Snezhinsk, known as Chelyabinsk 19 which
used to be one of the two secret atomic research centers in Soviet (Nizhni
Novgorod was the other). These cities are the Russian counterparts of Los Alamos
and Livermore.
Putin made a couple of promises. And he has made good on every one of them. He
wowed to restore the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) which was in shambles. He
wowed to pay all state debts. He wowed to restore Russia (The Empire). He wowed
to install the “dictatorship of the law”. Both the Tricolor and the double
headed eagle emblem were already reinstalled. The West was in shock when he
started to prosecute the criminal oligarchs, of which several fled to the West
or to Israel, where they have been given sanctuary to this day.
In just 7 years Putin has created a corporative state and all debts are paid.
Moscowites have become the big spenders and international investors of today. He
has not named a successor, because there is none. By the end of his presidency
he has created enough external enemies and established a solid support from the
suffrage and the new “pioneer” generation. They will beg him to continue to lead
the Empire. They will beg him not to step down, because sovok russkies don’t
have the ability to run a state without a supreme leader. They are happy
drinking vodka and eat Borsh while singing sentimental songs.
His weapons are energy and the lame ducks of the West. “Tsar” Vladimir is a
leader with full support of his people. In the West till today, only Estonia and
Poland are showing guts to stand up against him.
