Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspection
Commission, Created through the adoption of Security
Council resolution
1284 of Dec. 17, 1999. UNMOVIC replaced the former U.N. Special
Commission.

Iraq Programme, Established in October 1997 to
implement the oil for food program for Iraq established by
Security Council resolution 986 (1995). Security Council
