Though written from a religious and scriptual study perspective, it will be in proper persepctive and context,and highly applicable for this day in age. This chapter will reveal the current scenario to take place with and to Eretz Yisrael within a short period of time, and will give better understanding of what will be the results of Oslo's 1 and 2; and now Peres's secret agreement with Syria!

A massive war will be brought to Israel by a confederation of Moslem and Russian troops under U.N. authority, within perhaps the space of three years. As we watch the continued efforts under Rabin and Arafat towards the "peace process", many Christian writers have sent forth words and books stating that this will be the Great Battle of Armageddon, or that the "rapture of the church" is imminent. Some have even given timetables concerning The False Covenant of Peace with the anti-Christ that they state will soon be made, or the Jewish writers who write that a Messianic Age will shortly be ushered in. Yet the opinions and understanding of these Jewish and Christian writers are in grave error, showing lack of knowledge or wisdom in what Ezekiel 38 and 39 (along with other Scripture), are stating. These writers have not had their minds opened to understanding by His Spirit, causing a divided message of great confusion to the Jews and Christians in the world today.

The heart of the Jew, and the State of Israel, is Jerusalem. Though united for now geographically by war, it still remains spiritually a divided city of Jewish, Moslem, and Christian places of worship or veneration. There is a call, first by the U.N., and now the Vatican, to take the heart away from the Jews in a bloody pagan sacrifice, offering it to the god of this world, and to the world, by making Jerusalem an international city. This would kill the soul of Israel, a rekindled nation, that God has allowed to be reformed in accordance to His word and will. This evil intent in the mind of men, God can allow to progress to accomplish His ultimate purpose.

What you are about to read is an in-depth analysis of the purpose and scenario of this coming war that God will allow to occur. It will give warning for preparation, and deep understanding of His will as we intently view the Scriptures in light of current events rapidly taking shape in and around Israel today. With this coming massive war, you will see the direct intervention by God to cleanse Israel of her divided spiritual nature, to make her totally a land and home for the Jews to usher in the beginnings of the End of Days. And you will see and understand the use of Israel who will become a pattern unto the nations of the world as a geo-political, religious, and economic entity as The Kingdom of the Beast is being established.

There's a little known policy against Israel in effect today that started during the Reagan/Bush Administration. It is called the Level Battlefield Doctrine which is designed to weaken Israel militarily and strategically to the Arab nations surrounding her. An excellent book should be obtained by Joel Bainerman called The Crimes of a President (SPI Books) that addresses this thoroughly. This entwined with an evil, bloodied, and covert operation involving drugs, weapons for hostages, money, CIA/Mossad involvement during the Iran-Contra and other affairs around the globe that pointed to President Bush and then Prime Minister Shimon Peres. Now we are seeing the unraveling of the secret agreements of Oslo with their hidden clauses, those agreements at Tunis, and elsewhere towards the continuation of the Level Battlefield Doctrine. Along with Peres, Yossi Beilin have coerced a psychologically weakened Yitzhak Rabin to acquiesce towards stripping Israel strategically, along with Warren Christopher and Baker.

All the Moslem and Russian players are now set in place who are listed in Ezekiel 38 and 39. Three weeks after I wrote about it in my Joshua Letter, it was announced to the world that Russia and other nations would send armed personnel under U.N. authority to Israel to act as "observers" on behalf of Arafat's P.L.O. on March 23rd of this year. One of the things I wrote about was that the Russians would spy on the State of Israel in preparation of this soon coming war. Now Rabin has announced to the world that he is ready to give up the Golan Heights for peace with Syria. What is not understood by most writers is that is where the invaders will come through, not on the Plains of Jezreel (Megiddo) which occurs later in the future. Other differences between this battle in Ezekiel and that of Armageddon are really obvious if one should truly study the Scriptures. At Armageddon, Messiah Christ Jesus with His saints are involved. In this cleansing battle in Ezekiel, God intervenes directly Himself with an outpouring of power commonly ascribed to as Acts of God (which you will see later). At Armageddon, the armies of the whole world under the Beast come against Israel. In Ezekiel, only Russian and Moslem troops are involved from the limited area of the Old Persian Empire. At Armageddon, a remnant of Jews gather in the Temple to cry out for the Messiah for salvation. In Ezekiel, this cleansing war occurs prior to the Temple being built wherein it will be desecrated in the far future. And we could go on; therefore I highly encourage you to go back to the Scriptures and God for confirmation, instead of relying on preachers, ministries, and writers of false books who give a parroted version of ignorance passed down through the years. It is because of the man false teachings by the many ministries and writers that teach in ignorance of what the Scriptures are truly stating that will give rise to the tremendous apostasy when the believers go through tribulation.

What you are seeing slowly developing in the Middle East is only the threshold of preparation of Ezekiel 38 and 39. That troubled area originally was established by the sons of Noah who were Ham, Shem, and Japeth. Certain areas evolved to the areas of Magog and Togarmah, which includes the present republics of Muldavia, Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmanistan, Georgia, and Armenia. Most of this area is Islamic in religion. These, and the soon to be named countries, belong to the Ancient Persian Empire of long ago. Iran, which was the head of that Persian Empire, also included Iraq, Jordan, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Jamu, Kashmir, and at one time, Israel. Further reading in Ezekiel, Persia also included the Biblical listings of Put (present day Sudan and Ethiopia), Gomer (in present day Northern Turkey, not in East Germany as many have stated), Beth Togarmah (East Turkey-who was the son of Gomer-Gomer also known as the ancient Cimmerians). Two others listed are Meshech and Tubal (who lived in the Southern part of present day Turkey). The final parts of this Persian Empire are Biblical Sheba and Dedan (Western part of modern Saudi Arabia and Yemen),and the Merchants of Tarshish. To those of you who think that the Merchants of Tarshish were part of Great Britain, you went too far West. It was a city in Southern Spain which is now believed to be the modern city of Tartessus which is near Gilbralter. Ancient history shows that they thrived until the Vandals raided Spain from the North, driving them out. Assimilated by the Moors, the Moors tried to retake Spain, but they too were driven out (along with the Jews around the time of Columbus). The descendants of those Moors inhabited the areas of present day Morocco and Algeria. Again, much of these areas are Islamic in religion.

Ezekiel 38:13 shows an interesting statement by Sheba, Dedan, and the Merchants of Tarshish with all its villages who cry out an amazing plea. This plea is against an apparent double-cross against them, which we will look at later. What you are seeing is modern day written long ago, with the foreknowledge and wisdom of God. The only modern country which will not fit into the picture of a modern Persian Empire which is in formation today is the State of Israel, which God has allowed to be reformed into the middle of that mess. Israel is a nation which desires not to be a part of the empire, much to the consternation of all those around her.

Now it is important to take the time to lay out the nations that were mentioned above to give you a more clearer and accurate picture to counteract the erroneous propaganda passed down through the years by many well known religious media personalities. Now we'll look at Rosh for completion of a true picture of that area.

The word Rosh has several meanings, meaning "head" or also "a bitter or poisonous herb".

Both descriptions fit that area well. Rosh was a descendent of Benjamin (Genesis 46:21), and a northern people connected with Meshech and Tubal (Ezekiel 38:2-3). The name Rosh (meaning "head" or "chief"), refers to the Kievan ruler who was the Grand Prince who ranked above all the other princely rulers of that region or country of Russ. Kiev was also the spiritual center of Russ until the time of Ivan I who was later persuaded to stay in the city of Moscow around 1330, thereby effectively moving the place of power. Russia's involvement in the areas of Magog and Togarmah is extensive, and has been directed by God ("Be prepared, and prepare yourself, you and all your companies that are assembled about you, and be guard for them"). Though this passage is talking about Gog (both spiritual and natural implications), the Satanic influence of the spiritual implication over Russia is unmistaken. Russia has been preparing for war with the most massive arms buildup ever in present times (in spite of the false propaganda the "Cold War" is over), and is currently a guardian for, or has great influence over these nations.

The former Soviet Union with Russia in control (Moscow), had a population that incorporated nearly 60 million Islamic believers that comprised almost one-fifth of their population total. Currently, Russia has recently regained strong influence through the Commonwealth of Independent States (former Soviet bloc countries), and has announced the expansion of her "sphere of influence" to incorporate most countries in the Middle East. The grim reality of today's Russian Republic is that militarily she cannot go East, for there you will find China whose position and action is held in check by God until the very end at Armageddon, just prior to Christ's establishment of His millennial reign. Russia cannot go West, for there lies the European Common Market and NATO, though Russia is trying to expand its influence into that area. With what has happened with the Ukraine, Georgia, the Balkans, and other Republics, the only logical place for Russia to go to get access to warm water ports is South. This desire for access to warm water ports has always been in Russian strategy, and has not changed, in spite of what you think you see.

One previous strategy for Moscow was to militarily try to take over areas of part of that Ancient Persian Empire (such as Afghanistan), but that has now changed. Russia has now allied herself with some of them (as they are at her underbelly), and perhaps has promised to help them (especially Iran with their recent accords) to re-establish a modern Persian Empire including assisting driving Israel into the sea, coupled by a promise from them that Russia would have access to warm water ports on the Mediterranean, Red, and Arabian Seas. A recent example of this was the agreement and active involvement between Saddam Hussein and Russia for military assistance, help, and access to Iraq's only naval port prior to and during the recent Gulf War. As the result of that "war", Iraq lost the naval port, land, and oil fields to Kuwait, enforced by the U.N., and under Iraqi contention today. Further grim reality concerning Russian and Islamic leaders is that their ambition for world control and domination has not really changed, in spite of what you think you see.

Usually all wars are a fight involving religion or greed, and now your understanding will be expanded by a hidden agenda that is now coming to light in more recent days. With 60 million Moslems South of Russia, over 8 million in Europe, above 600 million in the Middle East and elsewhere; the Moslems are a "wild card" the leaders of the New World Order have to take into consideration to culminate their plans. It has therefore got to be understood that Israel will have to be sacrificed to the Moslems, because Israel is a stumbling block to the Moslem inclusion into this New World Order since the oil the Moslems control (60 percent) power the industry of civilization. This is a hard thing to grasp or understand, yet the evidence is continuing to mount. If you truly understand the concept of the New World Order, you would then understand why Israel will be conveniently sacrificed. If you got your head out of the sand, you would see the great deception taking place in the world today. Many excellent books have been written concerning this New World Order.

Consider this New World Order. The economics, power, politics, money, religion, and masses of the population of the world will be controlled by a select few for the benefit of that select few. This is akin to the communistic (or socialistic) philosophy or theory. The immense control of the masses has begun, more so by our own U.S. government who has used laws, hostile coercion or attacks, and every avenue to expound the virtues of this New World Order, especially under the banner of the United Nations. You are now watching U.N. laws and dictates become our national laws, superseding ours, and will see this to a further degree than what has transpired thus far. This control of our population by the government will be most dangerous to the church and state. For the church, Christians will get into trouble with the government because they desire and want to follow the will and mind of God instead of the government's will. Therefore the government will attack the Christians (as recently seen against "fringe" religious groups) because we will disrupt the desires of the government. Concerning the state, our own sovereignty will be relinquished to that world body, whose laws will supersede our own. Hard to believe? Open your eyes and look around you, because it's true. It's been a concerted and carefully orchestrated effort nationwide, and now globally, over the recent years. Look at what is being programmed into our children in schools, and how we are being slowly brainwashed everywhere we turn.

Now that you have an understanding of the mentality and attitude of the leaders of the New World Order, you should now understand the "how and why" Israel will have to be sacrificed because she is a stumbling block to the Moslem inclusion into this New World Order, and currently being pushed under the banner of the United Nations. If you truly researched and understood what the original composition, aims, ideology, and political thoughts of the original founders of this U.N., you would understand under whose control it is today Looking at what Israel is having to go through lately, she is basically alone in the world. Though you may not like this, and may find this disturbing and upsetting, I submit to you that the attack and invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War was only designed for laying the groundwork for the similar attack and invasion of Israel, both being done (as recently in Somalia, Bosnian-Serbian war, etc.) under the banner of the United Nations for furtherance of this New World Order. Evidence of this groundwork concerning Iraq is slowly coming to light in spite of all the suppression done to keep it quiet. Some of the evidence is as follows: the firing of Air Force Major Dugan, April Glaspie of the State Department, the testimony before a televised Congress by the kept-from-the-American-knowledge that it was the daughter of the Ambassador of Kuwait who lied during her "testimony" (especially concerning the babies in the incubators), the public relations firm of Hill and Knowlton (with a former Bush aide) who spent almost 13 million to spread lies and propaganda (most of the money from the government of Kuwait), collusion between the U.S. government at the highest levels and Iraq prior to the Gulf War, Bush and Baker's speeches and actions prior to and during that war, and the list goes on. There is a lot more to it than meets the eye. It is my understanding that the tone was set for policy with that war in Iraq, and now we will see shortly the use of the same U.N. platform and agenda of coerced cooperation to settle the "Palestinian", "land", and "nuclear" issues by attacking Israel because she will not bow to world demands. This is coupled with the Level Battlefield Doctrine and the secret accords we saw much earlier, and inclusive of the "Jerusalem problem" with the now "hands off" policy towards the P.L.O.'s Orient House (which is their "seat of government") in Jerusalem. If you find this hard to accept, take a good hard look around you and see what is truly taking place in the world today. It might shock you to the coldness and harsh reality of what the leaders of this world have planned for us in this much advertised New World Order. It is a matter of greed and religion, and if you get into their way, you will become expendable, just as Israel will become expendable to their goals and plans. Want to put it into current events? Think about a man named Foster, and the controversy surrounding his recent killing or "suicide". Do a little research into Hillary's words concerning the "Health Care Plan", and the detention or arrest of those who do not have a health care card: much less the entire massive grab of power, land, money, assets of the common man in the U.S.. Want to go further, look at the proposed loss of your children and their minds to government as they take parental rights and control, destroying families, the children, and soon the elderly. THINK!

Ezekiel 37 has basically three time frames, but we'll only look at it as it applies to this day in age. Ezekiel 40 is the description of the future building of the Temple. Ezekiel 38 and 39 are what I call a "Focusing Narrative" that is sequentially placed between 37 and 40, and speaks of the invasion. You must remember to read chapters 38 and 39 together and literally to see the focus of this event for your understanding. Since the emphasis of what is written in those two chapters are repeated twice, and as usually found in the Scriptures, when God speaks a thing twice, know that it will come to pass.

Israel fits that description of modern day found in chapter 37:1-10, as it is speaking of Israel as a current nation in this day and time. Ezekiel 40 is pretty much self explanatory concerning the building of the Temple. But a close examination of verse two of chapter 40 is warranted as it reveals that Ezekiel, who was familiar with the city of Jerusalem in his day, did not recognize that future city of what we now know as modern or rebuilt Jerusalem where the future Temple described in that chapter will be built. This will be the same Temple that the anti-Christ desecrates as the church sees him in II Thessalonians 2:1-5, etc., and the same one that the Lord Jesus Christ returns to when He will establish His millennial reign. But for now we will concentrate on the invasion as we examine closely the individual thoughts and patterns described in this focusing narrative which directs our attention to a specific event in the unfolding sequence of events.

Ezekiel 38:2-5 and 39:1 address and describe the makeup of the invasion force that is comprised of Russian and several Moslem nations as learned earlier in this chapter and study. This invasion does not consist of any ex-Warsaw Pact troops as many have stated in their ignorance of understanding. We mentioned earlier of a double-cross to take place in Ezekiel 38:13, and if you understand current events, Saudi Arabia and Yemen have had secret treaties, accords, and alliances with the United States which have recently come to light. Some of this had to do with the operational testing of CENTCOM during the Gulf War, as well as covert operations involving drugs, money, and weapons for hostages during prior U.S. administrations. These two Moslem nations will be punished by Russian and Moslem nations for their treaties; and other mentioned nations will be punished by the invading Moslem nations because they wouldn't become "fundamental" in their religious stance; this punishment coming in spite of the so-called "Moslem Brotherhood".

The tie in between this invasion found in Ezekiel and the New World Order can be found in verse 10 of chapter 38. Carefully looking a the language of the wording, looking at it literally (as you should the rest of the Scriptures), you will find 38:10 is divided into four distinct parts: God speaks; on that day; thoughts will come into your mind; you will devise an evil plan. The first and second parts are self explanatory. The third part, or thoughts that came into their mind, is that of their inclusion into the New World Order with the elimination of Israel who is the stumbling block to the Arab inclusion into this order. Looking again at current events, you will see and find that the U.S., Great Britain, and Russia all have a heavy hand in the so-called "peace process", as well as the formation of the New World Order with the furtherance of the United Nations' scope of power in this world (you may now begin to get an understanding of Daniel 7:4-5 with those thoughts just given). The fourth part concerning an evil plan is the Russian and certain Moslem nations double-cross of those in 38:13; for the total control of the majority of the oil in that region controlling the economies of the West; the seizure and control of North Africa to enhance their efforts in the rest of Africa; and the elimination of Israel. This will come during the U.N. mandated invasion similar to that of Iraq, Somalia, etc., yet Russia will go beyond what she will be mandated to do in a massive bid for power and control. The West will be unable to stop this because of the collusion of U.S. and other global administrations in the elimination or massive reduction of military power and defense, subjective to the whims and desires of those few elite power brokers of the New World Order. And once again, the desires of warm water ports and world control has not left the minds of many of those in Russia, in spite of what you think you see now. This also means that an evil or militarily dictatorial government will be in place before this invasion; meaning the possible removal of Yeltsin, or his methods and control gets much harder and violent. Further studies in those two chapters now continues.

God's purpose for the invasion is for the restoration of modern Israel to use her for a pattern of the things to come, and to bring into alignment the End of Days. God will use that invasion to sanctify, and magnify Himself before Israel and to the world, as He makes Himself known in the sight of many nations (38:23 and 39:6-8, 21-24). In other words, God causes the action, and God, and God alone, will defend Israel for His purposes. Not even mighty Israel will lift up the sword to protect herself as she will be unable to due to the direct Acts of God which will prevent her from initiating any type of response to this attack. You think this is impossible? Wait and see what His word says.

The size of the invasion force is staggering to the imagination, but smaller in size compared to that involved at Armageddon (which is another battle way down the road). This massive offensive is consistent to current Russian/Moslem battle plans of overrunning a country in sheer massive firepower and number of troops. Again, you must remember to read chapters 38 and 39 together and literally to see the focus of this event for your understanding. This invasion is pictured as the direct will of God in 38:1-9, 14-18, and 39:1-2; which also shows that it will be Israel that is to be invaded. In spite of current economic problems and border skirmishes, Israel can be described as secure within her own borders in un-walled cities (not like those of ancient days), and are prospering (38:8, 11-12). This invasion comes from the North (38:15 and 39:1-2), which is North of Israel. Again, though some have claims that this is the great Battle of Armageddon just prior to Christ's return to establish His millennial reign, if you have studied the Scriptures carefully, you will see significant differences between this invasion and that of Armageddon. Aside from those major differences listed near the beginning of this chapter, I give you one more. At Armageddon, the battle is on the PLAINS of Jezreel (Megiddo), during this invasion in Ezekiel, the battle is in the MOUNTAINS and hills of Israel. Now we will see why Israel will not be able to defend herself against this massive invasion and onslaught as we look closely at what the Scriptures are saying.

When this invasion begins, God declares that His fury will mount up in His anger (38:18). As this alliance start their invasion into Israel, first comes the massive earthquake, and because of its great fury and power, every wall will fall to the ground in that area (38:19-20). There are three significant purposes for this earthquake. The first, which was written about early in this chapter, is for the purification of Israel of all foreign religious places of worship or veneration. Consider the large number of Christian and Moslem places of worship in that land today. Consider also the biggest burden to Israel of all, the Mosque of Oman or commonly known as the Dome of the Rock, the third (or some say fourth) holiest place of worship in the Islamic religion. For the Jews to build the Temple found in chapter 40 on, that Islamic shrine has to be removed, contrary to some teachings that both can occupy the same space at the same time. The Moslems would never allow the Temple to be built, period! The land of the Jews will be cleansed for their pure worship of God in accordance to their Old Testament tenets. An interesting side note concerning the Dome of the Rock. Completion of a 10 million dollar renovation to the Dome is finished, with nearly 220 pounds of pure 24 carat gold worth 1.5 million dollars was applied over the brass sheets by electrolysis. This wealth is being brought into the land of Israel by outsiders, who do not ascribe to the Jewish faith. If you recall history, the Herodian Temple had sheets of gold layered between the stone blocks, and the Temple was torn down by outsiders to get at the gold, and carried out of the land of Israel. Now gold is being brought in, and it will be the Dome that will be thrown down by God (as the Temple was by the will of God). Sounds like poetic justice by God if you think about it, mixed with a little humor. Israel was not invited to the dedication ceremonies of this restoration project.

Israel is riddled with fault lines, and sits atop what is known as the Palestine Plate (speaking of plate tectonics). Another effect of this massive earthquake in Ezekiel is that a large valley will be created (39:11-16), to be named Hamon-Gog (the interpretation means the multitude of Gog). This is the valley where the Jews will bury the bones and bodies, and create a worker's city named Hamonah near this valley. And the third and final effect of this earthquake which I have never seen any minister or writer state; is to make Babylon a seaport city. You might look at Revelations 18 (especially verses 16-19) to see this. This will not be the city of Rome as many have claimed (much less the U.S.), as they are in great error in doctrine and understanding of the Scriptures. Babylon will be the actual, current city of the now being re-built, present day Babylon. You need to do a solid geographical study of this area around the present day city of Babylon which was the ancient city, and currently being re-built by Saddam Hussein. With your new understanding of the focusing narrative in Revelation 18, look geographically at where Rome is located (on the hills in Italy), and Saddam's Babylon on maps. Since Rome is not an obvious choice, we need to understand why the burden was placed on Saddam to spend a massive fortune in rebuilding.

There is a low lying plain that lies South/Southeast of this rebuilt Babylon that many wadi's (normally dry river beds) empty into during the rains. There are some small marshy lakes in this valley, and if you remember current events, Saddam is trying to pump dry this marshy area to get at the Shiite Moslems by his army in the no-fly zone (Saddam is a Sunni Moslem). The Shiite are supported by Iran. During this massive earthquake in Israel, it wouldn't take God much to lower this plain to where the Persian Gulf could flow into it (of course Kuwait would cease to exist and its oil fields would be covered and shifted, which would contribute to the fires later in Revelation 18). You think this is impossible? You need to understand then what God has created in that area through what we know as plate tectonics of that region. I remind you that God uses natural means often to accomplish His will (in His word), and before you brand me as a heretic, you should do a little research concerning these plates. What you will find may greatly surprise you, for God has already made that area ready to fulfill His plans for Israel and Babylon in the near future (and much later in time at Armageddon).

Along Israel's Eastern border runs the Great Rift that starts in Africa, and goes far North of Israel. On the East side of that Rift (and Israel) is what is known as The Arabian Plate. The Northern boundary of the Arabian Plate runs between Iraq and Iran (which sits on the Eurasian Plate). This Northern boundary of the Arabian Plate goes through the Persian Gulf, and is being subducted (pulled under) the Eurasian Plate. That is just a hint of what is to take place in that area. As I expressed earlier, it wouldn't take much for God to lower that area of the Northern boundary of the Persian Plate where you would find Iraq and Babylon, and allow the Persian Gulf to flow to Al Hillah on the outskirts of present day Babylon. Think about it, and ask God for confirmation. As 38:19-20 shows, birds, fish, beasts, insects, reptiles, and men throughout the earth will shake at His presence during this massive earthquake in that region. Mountains will be thrown down, steep pathways will collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground. There is chaos, pain, suffering, and mass destruction. We are starting to view acts that we usually describe to Old Testament times, and which will occur in a short period of time. In other words, we will see the massive Acts of God in our day we thought only took place in ancient times. Now we'll see that along with this earthquake, why Israel will also not be able to defend herself due to other Acts of God, as God will intervene directly on her behalf.

As exampled by similar stories in the Old Testament, the invaders turn on each other, killing each other as they fight with each other (38:21) on the mountains in Israel (also 39:2). This shows that the major fighting will be done in the North and Eastern parts of Israel. Why not the Southern or Western parts of Israel? Remember that Israel has the Mediterranean Sea on her Western border and the Negev (or desert area) to her South. In addition, remember that the Sea of Galilee, Dead Sea, and the River Jordan are on her East, atop the Great Rift. Continuing with verse 22 of chapter 38, we find that sickness and disease are given to the invaders, with blood. God continues with judgment towards these invaders with other massive and awesome power.

Then along comes rain, a torrential rain, indicative of severe weather disturbances in that area. This torrential rain (the interpretation means an overflowing rain), will greatly impede forward progress of the advancing troops and holds Israel from responding. I suspect that the U.S. Navy that is ported in Haifa (and the U.S. troops with others in the Negev near Egypt), will be cleared out as they usually do when severe weather approaches, or possibly destroyed due to the earthquake described earlier. It is possible that they might leave in collusion under the U.N. intervention of the sovereignty of Israel. This massive rainstorm will flood the Negev, and cause massive wave action on the surrounding seas and rivers, thereby acting as a shield from over-the-water invasion. Along with this comes the hailstones, also indicative of severe weather patterns in the area. The aftereffects of the massive earthquake will also cause extreme instability to the waters and land around Israel.

But the most powerful and fearsome act of all comes in the form of fire and brimstone, burning everything it touches, consuming that upon which it falls completely. There is a lot of foolish preaching and teaching going around that Israel will preempt with a nuclear strike, and that is what they feel (in their ignorance), that what you just read shows "proof" of a nuclear exchange. The stupidity of this line of thinking amazes me, and they didn't continue to read in His word Who sent the fire, and what the Jews in the land will do after it's over! Remember, according to their line of rationale, the areas in and around Israel will be radioactive, as well as some of the surrounding nations. It's no wonder there is so much confusion in the body of believers today, because these allegedly "teachers" of the Bible are usually mainly interested in holding the attention of a following, and the money and power this following brings. And to top it all, they claim that Israel will be rebuilding in the Millennial Reign with Jesus to come back with His saints to a destroyed Israel and seat Himself in a Temple, that according to their line of thinking, is now destroyed but will be rebuilt.

During the falling of fire and brimstone, the power of this judgment is so severe, that in 39:3 we see even the bows and arrows (best and currently described as launchers and missiles, or artillery in modern terms), will be rendered useless. Therefore the Scud and other missiles that are currently being purchased by the Arabs will become useless. I am firmly convinced that God, in His great mercy, even as the massive earthquake hits that area, damaging or destroying nuclear generating plants, these plants will also receive the consuming fire to protect Israel from the spread of radiation. This major loss of power will force the Jews to find alternatives for light and heat as we will see shortly. Chapter 39:6 also shows fire falling into areas of the Middle East and other Moslem nations, and they will KNOW THAT IT WAS DONE BY GOD, knowing He is Lord. This is a massive and awesome response by God in judgment to those who attack and invade Israel, and it will be known worldwide that it was God, and God alone, who defended Israel! The devastation to the invaders and to the land of Israel is now completed, for in a very short time it's over; the senses of man reeling by a display of sheer, raw, power; then silence. The destruction is over in one day.

As the Jews come out of the ruble of destroyed Israel to see what has been done, they see the tremendous number of bodies and war materials in her land. No other nation will desire to attack Israel in her helplessness (for the time being), because they understand that it was God who protected Israel. The beast of the fields and predatory birds will now come to feast on the freshly killed bodies of the Russian and Moslem armies who dared to destroy Israel (39:4,17-20). Most cities in Israel will receive great damage, and it will take years for Israel to rebuild. To show how current in time this will take place, you must understand chapter 39:9 16, and the HIDDEN QUESTION it presents, found in verses 12 and 13. This section shows that the house of Israel, even all the people of the land will bury the dead. This is a national effort, and will be to their renown worldwide. Now think! If Israel is tremendously damaged, and all the people of the land are burying the dead, how are they going to support and feed themselves during this massive project that takes place for over seven months? THAT is the hidden question or message found in 39:12-13. The answer lies with the Jews in the U.S., and other parts of the world who will support this national effort with massive aid on an unprecedented scale never seen in the world today. If you know and understand Israel now, you will remember that both the religious leaders and the government of the State of Israel have called out over the years for the Jews to Aliya (return) from the Diaspora (nations outside of Israel's borders), but to no effect or avail. Now, for the most part, Diaspora Jews are opting to leave Israel, or go to other countries, such as Canada, Europe, etc. In other words, the Jews in the U.S. and other parts of the world have resisted the call to return to Israel. It is because God has kept these in RESERVE to support this national effort of mass burial in damaged Israel in the near future. And again, to show how extensive this damage to Israel is, inclusive of power plants, they will build fires forlight and warmth initially out of the war materials, and not have to cut any trees for fuel, for seven years.

After the burials, and things get somewhat settled in Israel, looking at 39:21-29, you will see the massive return of the Jews from all the foreign lands as they will not be ashamed to be known as Jews anymore. They will take all their knowledge, wealth, expertise, and possessions with them from those nations who are currently sheltering them, in the greatest exodus the world has ever seen. "And the house of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God from that day onward", "Then they will know that I am the Lord their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer. And I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel', declares the Lord God".

It will take years for Israel to rebuild, and then they will build a Temple as Israel will now be totally a land for the Jews. All other vestiges of religion (both Christian and Moslem) will be removed. The Jews will live in the land of the Jews once again, and will choose to follow after God in accordance to Old Testament laws and sacrifice, while the rest of the world aligns also into the Kingdom of the Beast in alignment in accordance to God's word. A balance and shift of powers will occur as new regional alliances will take place. Israel will become a geo-political, religious, and economic entity, having all the elements by herself, while the rest of the world gravitates into nine other geo-political, religious, and economic alliances of the Kingdom of the Beast. Six of these alliances are in the process of formation today.

God's purpose for that invasion is for the restoration of modern Israel by God to use her as a pattern of His will and of the things to come, and to bring into alignment the nations for the End of Days, as He has always done things through Israel, because it is the nation He has chosen to do so.
